Wiesbaden is the capital of the federal state Hesse. It may not be as bustling as the financial hub Frankfurt am Main nearby, but it still has several charming places worth discovering.
- Wiesbaden Main Train Station: a small but well-structured station
- Kurhaus: besides great-painting ceiling and walls inside, the house also features great park for picnics or a boat tour around the lake. A must-visit for nature lovers!
- The 1888 Nerobergbahn Funicular: a small route but worth doing. It takes you up to the hill above the city. You then can have some nice walk on the hill and try traditional dishes why enjoying the landscape of Wiesbaden from above.
