Heidelberg is known as a university-town in Germany as it has the oldest German university: Heidelberg University, which was founded in the 14th century. But beside this well-known fact, Heidelberg is also famous as the city on the Neckar river, boasting the old town square on one side and the mountain on the other side. Another tourist-attracting place of Heidelberg is the red-sandstone castle ruins of Heidelberg castle, which gives its visitors a paranomic view over the the city.

From the entrance gate you just need to walk up for 1-2 minutes to reach the 360-panorama view of Heidelberg.
