LIMBURG AN DER LAHN, HESSE, GERMANY

Limburg an der Lahn (or Limburg on the Lahn river), located in western Hesse state, is famous for its cathedral with high spikes and the 600-year-old Lahn bridge. Additionally, Limburg is one of a few towns in Germany that could keep its medieval buildings  nearly unscathed. With just approximately 30-minute away from Frankfurt by train, Limburg is a perfect location for a relaxing weekend day trip.
